Fitness program:

3 steps to get started

Assess your fitness level

You probably have some idea of how fit you are; however, tracking and recording your progress dramatically increases your chances of success.  My initial consultation includes an overall assessment of your fitness level. Click here to set up a time to meet.

Design your fitness program

It's easy to say that you'll exercise every day. But you'll need a plan – as they say, ‘Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail’.  I focus on designing a plan that works with your life, balancing family, career and life’s crazy schedule to ensure that you can fit exercise that’s fun and enjoyable into your busy day.

Find a Partner / Coach / Mentor

It can be challenging to stick to an exercise program by yourself.  You are more likely to stick with it if you have a coach or partner to help you along the way and keep you accountable.  That’s what I do!

Get started

Now you're ready for action.  The first step is usually the hardest, but with a Partner /Coach / Mentor, it will be much easier to begin and to stick with it.  Progress is made every day – remember, slow and steady wins the race!  The key is to BEGIN!

Outdoor Aerobics

High Intensity Interval Training

The concept of "HIIT" is pretty simple. You can do anything for 30 seconds or even a couple of minutes. And then, given a chance to catch your breath, you'll be able to do it again.

Yoga Pose

Yoga

The relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Yoga can also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia.

Personal Trainer

Weight Training

Having more muscle turns your body into a fat-burning machine. Building muscle mass helps your body burn fat more efficiently at rest, and you just don't develop muscle through cardio the way you do when you are doing strength training.

Girl Walking in Empty Road

Strengthening Exercises

For people with osteoporosis, the main goals of physical activity should be to prevent falls by improving general health, balance, muscle strength, posture, and postural stability.

Fitness Class

Zumba

Zumba classes are intended to provide a large calorie burn through aerobic activity. Depending on fitness level and other physical factors, the number of calories you burn will vary, but most people will burn between 400 and 600.

Exercise at Home

Prefer to work out at home? Gyms and classes are not for everyone. Stream your workout from Netflix , Apps or Amazon Prime to feel the burn without the audience. You can choose from cardio, strength, or stretch classes and more.
