C. Gegeckas

I've spent a lifetime battling with my weight, always feeling like the numbers never told the full story. Then, a health scare hit—I was diagnosed with diabetes and melanoma in the same week. That was my wake-up call. I didn't care about the numbers on the scale anymore. I just wanted to feel healthier and be ready for whatever health challenges came my way.

That's when I reached out to Brenda. I was already on a weight loss journey, but I needed guidance on eating right and incorporating exercise into my life. I wasn't someone who enjoyed sweating or exercising; in fact, I hadn't done it regularly since aerobics classes in the '80s. With three kids and a lot of weight to lose, I knew I needed help.

Brenda's unwavering support and understanding were what kept me going. Her online workouts were perfect—quick, enjoyable, and no endless treadmill sessions. We worked together, finding activities I liked, from swimming to trying out pickleball. Brenda was always there to say, "Come on, Cath, let's go," pushing me gently out of my comfort zone.

The changes have been incredible. I'm more active now—I can run up and down stairs, stretch freely, and enjoy swimming, pickleball, biking, and hiking on vacations. I even tried yoga and added weights to my routine. And though I never cared much about the numbers, I lost 65 pounds and went from a size 2X to a misses 10-12.

But it wasn't just about the physical changes. This journey has brought my husband and me closer. We now enjoy activities together that we never did before. He's lost weight too, thanks to the changes I've made in our diet.

Brenda isn't just a coach; she's warm, caring, knowledgeable, and adaptable. She tailored a program that fit me perfectly. I'd recommend her to anyone looking to make positive changes in their life and eating habits. And a bonus? My health insurance covered the program. Brenda isn't just a coach; she's become a lifelong friend.
